Yes, there are many side effects that may occur after having laser hair removal treatments. Although unlikely, the following side effects can happen; scarring, blistering, viral infection, surrounding skin could get darker or lighter, but the list could go on. When treatments are done correctly by a professional, laser hair removal is very safe, however, patients may have a slight reaction of redness or swelling occur that typically resolves within a few hours following the treatment.
